Act Justly. Love Mercy. Walk Humbly.

Welcome to Six:Eight

If you are new to Six:Eight, Welcome - we’re glad you found us! There’s always room for more in our growing family. We hope you come as you are and leave changed! Below you can read a little more about what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Our Pastor

Jason Guynes

jason@sixeight.org

Jason lists his accomplishments as husband, father, pastor & artist. In that order. His kids affectionately call him 'Jefe' & he refers to his dreadlocks as his 'mane' (that’s a bit much). His journey includes art school, seminary & owning a live music café/art gallery on the Mainline (the Pourhouse Cafe & Agape Galleries), and nine years in Indonesia, where three of his children were born. Blessed to be back in the Philly area, Jason spearheaded Six:Eight which serves this local community.

What to Expect

We’re a relaxed crowd - come as you are and feel free to participate as much or as little as you like; no expectations. Every Sunday, we pray for ourselves and others, worship in song, hear a message from the Bible and have some announcements. During worship, feel free to sit, stand, raise your hands, or stick them in your pockets - however you feel comfortable. If you have any questions, feel free to grab someone you have seen up front, at the sound booth, or a greeter, and they will gladly talk with you and direct you to the right person or resource. If you would like, there will be people available to pray with you during the ministry time which will be announced during the service.

Our service begins at 9:30am and runs until about 11am. Families are always welcome - we have kids church classes available during the service from nursery through elementary ages.
